About The Culinary Experience
Shavon McGee has over 16 years of experience working in the food industry. After graduating from culinary school (Orleans Technical Institute) in 2005, Shavon received her certification. She then began her profession, teaching culinary arts to students with special needs. Working as an assistant instructor, Shavon worked her way to lead instructor, teaching culinary skills and food safety training for at-risk youth through a partnership with nonprofit organizations in the city of Philadelphia. Shavon currently owns & operates The Culinary Experience where she continues to provide food safety training & consulting services for those in the food industry. Her goal and passion is to ensure that food is kept safe through the knowledge and hands-on lessons that will stick with her students for a lifetime.
The Culinary Experience is listed on the Approved List of Philadelphia's Food Safety Certification Training Courses Providers. We serve clients in the Philadelphia and Tri-State area (Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey).
